The best purchase I’ve made in the last decade was five years ago in March of 2021. I was going through a hard time at work and in my personal life to the point I was required to take a couple of months off to recover. During that time, I opted to cheer myself up with a trip to a certain pet store. There, a very passionate young woman introduced me to the shop rabbits. She explained what kind of care they needed, how to care for them, and even which veterinary offices would take them. My mother realized taking care of a bunny baby might be just what I needed, and agreed to adopt one under certain conditions. Since I live with my parents, I found the conditions reasonable and agreed.
Two weeks later, I returned to the same shop, ready to adopt my first bunny baby. At first I was discouraged because none of the rabbits wanted anything to do with me. Until I came to the last rabbit. Not only did he allow me to pick him up, but he snuggled right into my arms. I knew he was the one. To this day, he is still my big cuddle baby. He loves attention at 5 years of age and still knows I need the love and warmth.
He is without a doubt my favorite adoption.
