What’s the longest book you’ve ever read?

I want to make one thing clear. Since the day I learned the alphabet on the wall of my kindergarten classroom, I have always been interested in books. Granted, my favorites until middle school were mainly for animal research; I’ve spent most of my life with my nose in a book. It wasn’t until upper middle school that I grew interested in Romance novels. Sure, it began with a time-traveling witch here and a kidnapped duke’s daughter there, then before I knew it—bam!—I was in the middle of shapeshifting wolves, bears, and jaguars. Oh, my fur! Anyway, around my first college trip—and very first iPhone—I realized that the spicy novels most parents dreaded could be more entertaining than annoying your siblings with verbatim quotes from Fran Drescher’s The Nanny.

Longest novel I read in while? Eve Langlais’s Their Furever Mates series. With a whopping 613 pages across three combined books, I was surprised it hooked me enough to finish. Some call Mrs. Langlais’s book cliché; I call it captivating. Her humor, along with her well-written character development, makes this lengthy novel an addictive read.
