I wouldn’t mind spending a dinner evening with Eve Langlais. Now, before any of my fellow bloggers run out their current window to look her up. Mrs. Langlais writes books on the spicier side. And by spicy, I mean full-blown bonfire. So why would I like books so out of character for me? For the characters. Plain and simple. I am head over heels for her characters and how she develops them throughout each story, making them believable. You may believe that all authors can do this, and to some extent, you are right. The problem is developing them well enough to draw readers into the plot, setting, and lives of each story. I struggle with this as an inexperienced author. Overall, I believe I would enjoy discussing writing techniques and where she gains inspiration, as well as swapping stories.
