In all honesty, I can’t remember a time when shoes were important to me. General Concenus says shoes are a girl’s best friend, but most of my childhood and teenage years were spent in the backyard, barefoot, playing with the neighborhood creatures. One of my most memorable moments was sitting on the back porch with my baby sister, trying to bake cookie dough with aluminum foil in the midsummer sun. I never baked the cookies, but I treasure the memory as one of my barefoot adventures.

Oh my god, you remind me of myself so much. One thing i will never forgot about my childhood is that i used to run on the garden barefoot. I never wore shoes in the Summer. I still dont actually, but i will always remember my childhood by seeing some kid walking barefoot.
