Living Life Without Sleep: Learn, Cook, Play

Daily writing prompt
If you didn’t need sleep, what would you do with all the extra time?

If sleep weren’t a thing, I would learn a new skill. Japanese, Korean, and Chinese have been on my language list for the longest. There are specific time-inclusive recipes I want to cross off my bucket list before I hit old age. The joy of cooking these recipes, like Jalapeno cheese rolls, Mitarashi dango, and peanut butter rice crispy treats, brings a sense of warmth and comfort. I mainly like the cheesy spice of my grandmother’s Jalapeno cheese roll. Best of all, conquering all the video games I’ve put off for the past five or so years would be a snap. At some point, a player gets tired of the spoilers and wants to experience it herself. Fire Emblem and Love and Deepspace come to mind.
