When it comes to my beliefs, there are some things best left under an unlit candle. However, destiny is one topic I enjoy contemplating. In my lovely little world and a few of your own, fate or destiny refers to the hidden power or entity believed to control events that happen to a person or thing in the future. The best way to describe my thoughts on destiny is you’re met with a fork in the road. You know, both paths lead to the same general destination, but one where one is filled with hardship and trials, and two is lined with a life set on easy mode.
The way things stand, life is a matter of choices; even if the result will be the same, how I go about getting to that destination—predetermined or not—decides how things shall go after arriving at that point.
As Ever After’s Leonardo DaVinci once said, “You cannot leave everything to fate. Sometimes you must give her a hand.”
