Butterfly’s Bulky Cousin

Daily writing prompt
Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?

Moth Collecting
Remember the joy of capturing a single dainty butterfly when you were a kid? How it would crawl from your cupped hands only to dance before eyes? My hobbie as a budding bug enthusiest was going outside to the carport every morning to collect one of the butterfly’s bulky cat-like cousins. For reasons beyond comprehension our lonely little carport lamp was a mega moth hotspot. And I loved it! It was disappointing when we moved cities. None of our homes since have I seen as many or beautiful moths as I did in middle Tennessee.
