When it comes to finishing my first Paranormal Romance novella, I have steered clear of the writing portion. Building characters, assimilating maps, and creating backstories are all interesting to me, but when faced with a blank page, all these doubts start swimming in my head, and I freeze. Some days, I’ll sit in front of a computer for hours questioning, “Am I writing the correct thing?”, “Will others like what I’ve written?” “Is what I’m writing true to the side of me I want people to see?”. It took me three days and an eye exam scare to realize life is short. There needs to be more to prepare a person for their future complications. I plan to focus on my writing regardless of what form as long as I can.
